We’re an unlikely aviation duo.
Well…half of us is, anyway. The other half was born for this stuff.
Michael is a private pilot, aerospace engineer, certified A&P mechanic, civilian defense contractor and a lifetime member and/or board member of just about every aviation related club or organization he can find time to attending meetings for.
Meg is a nursing student and parrot enthusiast who just so happens to really, really like Rutan design aircraft. She’s not very good with a drill, but she can sand like a champ. And in a Rutan composite design, that’s the more worthy skill anyway.
Recently, we purchased an in-progress Quickie Q2 project. This is the story of how we’re bringing it to life, and maybe learning a little something about each other along the way. After all, it’s just our Q…plus two.
